Peli BioThermal Opens Dublin Network Station & Service Centre

New network station brings convenient, flexible shipping options to major logistics hub and global centre of pharmaceutical industry.

Peli BioThermal, the global name in temperature controlled packaging, announces the opening of a new network station and service centre in Dublin, Ireland to service, refurbish, repair and condition Peli BioThermal’s reusable Crēdo on Demand shippers. This new facility puts Peli BioThermal on track to realise its plan to exceed 100 network stations and drop points for its rental programme in 2019.

The Dublin facility is focused on Peli BioThermal’s Crēdo on Demand programme, which provide a high performance, flexible rental option for temperature controlled containers such as Crēdo Cargo, Crēdo™ Xtreme and Crēdo™ Cube. The Crēdo on Demand rental programme  allows organisations to choose the shipper application that best fits their company’s requirements, logistics profile and budget.

The new Dublin network station and service centre is strategically located in Harristown, next to Dublin Airport and is ideally located to serve the ever growing pharma industry in Ireland, which is home to some of the world’s leading biotech and pharma companies.

All of the world’s top10 BioPharmaceutical companies and 14 of the world’s top 15 medical technology companies have operations in Ireland according to IDA Ireland (Investment Development Agency), which highlighted how 75 pharmaceutical companies operate in the country where the biopharmaceutical industry has made a capital investment of approximately $10 billion in new facilities during recent years. IDA Ireland added this represents close to the biggest wave of investment in new BioTech facilities anywhere in the world and how Ireland’s pharma, bio and chemistry produce amounts to €39BN in annual exports.

Dublin is a key hub of manufacturing and distribution for the pharma industry and Ireland is home to some of the largest pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in the world including Lilly, Pfizer, Sanofi, Amgen, Allergan, Alexion, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck and Pramerica.

“Dublin is a key logistics location hub and Ireland’s life sciences sector and bio-pharmaceutical industry is increasing at a rapid rate,” said Dominic Hyde, vice president of Crēdo™ on Demand. “As we continue to expand our Crēdo on Demand rental programme, the Dublin network station and service centre puts customers in closer proximity to more convenient and flexible shipping options.”

The Dublin network station and service centre is being staffed by a team of Peli BioThermal experts to mirror the superior service levels provided at the company’s growing number of network stations and service centres around the globe.
