Illuminating the Role of Epidemiology in Real World Research

Epidemiology is a field of science that studies the occurrence of disease in the general population in relationship to the characteristics of individual subjects and their environment. Real world research is a broad term covering a wide range of non-experimental investigative techniques. Jessica Albano at Syneos Health explains that the current real world research landscape is one of rapid expansion.
